IDEAL CANDIDATES for this GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNT position will possess the following QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CMA or CPA a plus
Strong knowledge of general ledger procedures with a manufacturing background

Job Summary: Responsible for assisting in the research and development of new LED lighting products for the lighting industry through the creation of new product concepts, computer simulation, creation of manufacturing drawings, and electrical schematics. Project management skills are a must for this position as the person will be responsible for not only conceptualizing and designing the product but will also be responsible for seeing it through testing and certification. This position also has a technical support role that requires frequent interaction with various departments including customer service. Occasional travel and work in the field is also expected for the troubleshooting and commissioning of lighting systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Create new LED light fixture designs using SolidWorks.
Do thermal and photometric analysis using simulation software as well as physical testing using photometric testing equipment.
Cost estimating for new products.
Conduct research and development for new and modified products.
Project management.
Submittal of new product for testing and certification by third party testing labs.
Create mechanical drawings and electrical schematics for production.
Responsible for creating user instructions, assembly instructions and other technical documents for use by internal and external customers.
Manufacturing support on prototype and first run products.
Prototype assembly.
Coordinating engineering changes on the production floor.
Provide technical support for various departments including but not limited to production, sales, marketing, and customer service.
Occasional customer service backup.
Data entry into the Visual Manufacturing software system.
Programming of Panel Bender for new products and occasional programming adjustments for production.
Other duties as assigned.

Essential DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES as a WELDER/FITTER:

• Have a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience with Flux Core/GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding/Mig )
• Read and understand blueprints and have knowledge of GDT weld symbols
• Proficient at fixture design
• Weld low volume/prototype components or sub-assemblies to meet applicable quality standards and drawing requirements
• Pass multiple weld certifications
• Weld fitment experience to .030 tolerances a plus
• Heat straightening experience a plus

LPI - MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER

Are you interested in being challenged, using your mechanical aptitude and skills, and growing within a technical career? If so, we are looking for you!

Essential DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES as a MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER:

Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications and other written instructions and follow established procedures to accurately assemble products
Mechanical type of assembly using hand tools and power tools
Knowledge of measuring and testing devices and assembly hardware
Work with various sized materials from heavy parts to small intricate parts
Perform quality testing/inspecting to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards
Identify product defects and report on issues to appropriate personnel
Rework and/or repair assembled products according to engineering specification changes
Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Required:

High school diploma or equivalent
An Associate Degree in Maintenance or Electromechanical Technology would be a plus!
A combination of education and experience will also be considered. Ideally 2 years previous experience with repair and troubleshooting of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems.

The LPI Sales Manager is responsible for all sales management activities across channels. Leads, manages and is accountable for direction of LPI sales process, staffing, training and performance evaluations of LPI sales team. Works with existing major accounts, development in new industries and continued growth in existing market segments and channels. Essential DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES as an INDUSTRIAL PAINTER:

Proficient at preparing parts and weldments by washing, applying paint coatings, mixing and managing chemicals, while meeting quality and product efficiency standards.
Clean, maintain, and repair paint spray equipment, along with cleaning paint booth and changing paint booth filters.
Able to complete wet or dry mill tests, recognize colors and surface finish characteristics.
Able to read blueprints and manufacturing drawings/instructions.
Report inconsistencies and/or defects in material, product, or equipment.
Accurately record labor and work order information.
Complete operator equipment and maintenance checklists.
Track and maintain chemical inventory levels/amounts.

LPI - SERVICE PARTS SPECIALIST / FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

In this role as SERVICE PARTS SPECIALIST-FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN, YOU will MAKE AN IMPACT by:

Handling customer inquiries and requests via phone and email for parts and service/inspection work to determine needs and scheduling of trips.
Gathering information from customers on parts needs to communicate and coordinate with Operations, Purchasing and Manufacturing to determine lead time and cost to provide accurate quotes to customers.
Traveling up to 60% of the time to customer locations to perform service, installation, or warranty work on LPI equipment.
Following procedures to enter quotes and orders into CRM along with creating and filing Field Service Reports for customers promptly after performing on-site work.
Providing feedback and recommendations to sales and engineering departments on any product improvements.
Scheduling and arranging field service/inspection trips, including air, car rental, and hotels, and filing expense reports after trip.
Coordinating with Sales & Engineering Managers on field projects that require support from additional staff.

What do we need from you as a SERVICE PARTS SPECIALIST-FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN?

Mechanical aptitude and desire to be challenged with new technologies.
